Susanne

Susanne was born in Switzerland and graduated, with distinction, from the Crawford College of Art in Cork in 1987.
She then established herself as an artist and co-founder of an artists’ collective in Oldenburg, North Germany. Susanne taught Colour Theory and Drawing at Oldenburg University and at Oldenburg Institute of Technology, returning to Cork in 1994.

Susanne's art work has received international recognition, and can be found in numerous private collections in Germany, Switzerland and Ireland.
Her most recent one-person exhibition was in Berlin (2017)

Susanne's work is permanently represented by Galerie Kunstueck in Oldenburg, and Galerie Artforum in Hannover, Germany.
In Switzerland, the cities of St. Gallen and Wil, Schweizerische Volksbank, UBS Art Collection have included her work in their collections.

Arthaven Cooperative Gallery, Crosshaven and Studio One, Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland.

Her work is included in the public collections of University College Cork, Glucksman Gallery, and Cork Printmakers Cork.

In Germany, City Councils of Oldenburg, Luebeck, Vechta, Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen have been collecting and showing her work.

Susanne

Susanne works from her studio in the Backwater Artists Group, Wandesford Quay, Cork. She has full Studio Membership, and serves on Backwater’s Board of Directors.

Susanne is a co-founder of Arthaven Gallery.

Her teaching has included Teaching "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" and Teaching Visual and Aesthetic awareness.

Susanne has trained as a practitioner in the Feldenkrais Method, Awareness through Movement.
